Here on the farm we like to run a few workshops throughout the blooming season. There is nothing better than choosing your own flowers and creating a big, beautiful bouquet to take home. Our workshops include the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll through the dahlia field, take as many photos as you like to pretty up your socials (!) and learn how to create a hand-tied bouquet. You will also be shown an easy way to wrap your bouquet for gifting, a handy skill when picking your own flowers at home for friends and family. Afterwards you will be served a relaxed country-style morning tea.
Bookings are currently open here on the website on the "Workshops" page. The date is Sunday the 23rd of February at 10.30am, the cost is $100, which includes all flowers, tuition and morning tea. The workshop will run for approximately 2 hours. Note that places are limited to 10 people. Depending on the season, and popularity, potential future dates may be organised. As well as fresh flowers Blooms on the Hill also grows and dries a lot of our material. Workshops using dried flowers, such as wreath making workshops, are in the pipeline for the cooler months....so let us know if this sounds like something you'd like to do! Have a great day! Amber
