Blooms on the Hill runs a number of bouquet making workshops throughout the growing season. Learn in a fun and friendly environment, experience over 1000 dahlias in full bloom during the summer and enjoy some hearty country hospitality with either morning or afternoon tea.
**Workshop dates for the 2025/2026 season will be announced later this year. (Workshops for this coming season will include bouquet making, fresh flower crowns, dahlia tuber digging and dividing, dried flower wreath making, floral vase arrangements and large installations)
Dried Flower Wreath Making Workshop
Create a dried flower wreath from flowers all grown and dried here on the farm. A wide range of flowers were dried throughout the season including statice, strawflowers, zinnias, amaranth, globe amaranth, dahlias, feverfew, winged everlasting, hydrangea and celosia. All materials and morning tea provided.

Bouquet Making Workshop
Learn how to create a hand tied bouquet using freshly harvested seasonal ingredients straight from the farm. Enjoy a walk through the flowers. Light refreshments are included. All materials are included.

Bouquet Party
For your next girl's night, hen's party or get together book a bouquet party! Buckets of blooms brought to your home or event location, then you and your friends will be taught to make a hand tied bouquet using fresh seasonal flowers. All flowers and materials supplied.

Dahlia Tuber Dig & Divide Workshop
Dahlias! The flower that keeps on giving you copious amounts of blooms throughout the season, and the single tuber that will grow into an entire clump by the end of the season. Learn how to dig and divide dahlia clumps into single tubers so you can increase your stock of your favourite varieties or share with others!
This workshop includes tips on how to properly dig dahlia clumps and a hands-on lesson in dividing into individual tubers. Tips will also be given into storage for replanting in spring. Participants can then take home their tubers they have divided to plant in their own gardens! Participants can also share their tubers amongst each other so you can take home a good variety of new dahlias for your garden!
